Otherside Picnic : Episode 9

What, what just happened. What happened here? Did Sorawo just brainwash or hypnotize Akari into some badass suddenly. What is with this sudden really strange development. I kinda want to see how this could keep being used to get out of really dangerous situations later on.

I said this in the previous episode, but this is becoming a much better show. The stories in the episodes are more self contained and fully worked out. I don’t feel like we are missing events or context, or required now to read the source to figure out what is happening. If this was this way from the beginning I think it I would have enjoyed the first couple episodes way more than I did.

Now for the yuri relationship side. I really wish this whole thing could be pushed forward already. The conflict is really obvious, does Toriko like Sorawo for herself or because she sees Uruma in her. Personally I think it is that Toriko does just like Sorawo for being herself, and not as a stand in for Uruma. But I feel like this is going to be a continual thing for the rest of the show that will just get tiring.
