The Eminence in Shadow : Episode 2

A pretty good episode, that probably should have just been episode 1. We actually get introduced to the main character and the primary supporting cast this episode. We get to learn about the world and who Cid is in it. Pretty much everything you would expect to see in an episode 1, unlike the actual episode 1 which was about a completely irrelevant character essentially.

Something that worries me about this adaption is the source material isn’t even close to being finished. We only have 4 light novels to base the show off of, and I don’t really know if they have a good point I would consider a good ending. So I wonder what they are going to do with the show, and how far they will go with it. They do have 20 episodes so plenty of time at least.
