Still adapting things very close to the manga with very little changes. But the things they do really do add minor improvements to the show and the characters. Adding a bit more backstory in spots and fleshing them out some. Adding those couple extra scenes and transitions to smooth out rough edges and make things flow better. I have no complaints at all.
