Ugh, it is all just so disappointing for me. It really is. And I’m probably in the minority about this opinion, but this show was terrible and disappointing. And this ending, it just takes too disbelief for me to follow the events of the story. Hackers who are using magic to literally hack computers and change the world along with tracking a single gun down to a street corner. A population who apparently doesn’t question anything their government says, a 100% captive populace who are mindless drones. The characters have literal superpowers that are never explained.

And man this ending, it is just disappointing. We still don’t have answers at all about the Alan group. We spent 13 episodes with them being a major involvement in all the events, and yet they still didn’t get any development at all. The LilyBell group we know exists, and should have been a major plot point due to their relation with Majima, and yet they got no development. Robota was dealt with in a super unsatisfying way, and we still don’t know anything about his character or why he was a hacker. Same thing with Kurumi, still don’t know anything about her character really outside of being a hacker. And the DA is this super powerful organization who I guess is above the actual Japanese government in power, and yet we don’t know anything about who they are or were they came from. Who is supporting them? Where do they get their money and power from?

I’m just left with so many questions that I never got any answers to. And instead what I got was really disappointing instead. I got a slice-of-life story for half the show of two girls growing closer to each other. Some pretty well animated fights and scenes in general. And a very bare-bones and unsatisfying story.
