Love, Election and Chocolate : Episode 9

This tragic backstory for Chisato just kinda feels odd, like it isn’t something I expect. Or would think about in a story like this. Nothing about this show is all that serious really, the darkest it got was the whole financial add situation. Which is odd enough as it is, and already pretty dark. But adding the whole dead brother from a car accident and long-term trauma from it, just really unexpected. I do wonder if it is one of those things that work out better in the VN with more time to develop Chisato compared to the anime.
