Sankarea: Undying Love : Episode 7

I don’t really know if this episode was required or not for me. It was a backstory of how Ranko and Chihiro meet and became friends. Along with confirming that obvious that Ranko likes him. But I don’t really feel like it added all that much, especially when we still have a ton of content involving Rea that hasn’t been developed yet. And already being on episode 7, I am worried we just don’t have enough time to wrap things up now.

I just don’t see how they can develop a good relationship between Chihiro and Rea enough to be a possible romance, along with a possible romantic conflict between Rea and Ranko to see who wins. Along with also dealing with the number of issues that Rea currently has as a zombie, that just haven’t been really explored yet. Just not feeling like this will be overly satisfying in the end.
