Summer Time Rendering: Episode 4

Once again I will say I love this show, but also I don’t have a clue were this is going at all. I don’t know how this will progress with each episode, it is just a complete mystery to me. Like I feel like I don’t even know enough that I could possibly come up with a prediction for how this show will continue. Not a clue what the Shadows are. Or why he is time looping. Or anything at all, but man I am invested and want to see it to the end.

But first off, the fact that it seems that Ushio really did return from the dead is incredible. I don’t know what is behind it, or if she is really alive or just some monster or a ghost or what. But that is a twist I didn’t see happening.

And as for what will happen in the next episode, I do have some predictions. Shinpei will probably end up dying to restart the loop, at this point it probably seems like the logical thing to do. Reset the damage and with his new knowledge to get a head-start and continue to fight back against the Shadows. But first I’d guess he gathers more information, which is why the current events 10min later are happening. He needs more info, and he can get that from the ferry lady most likely along with more information by dropping in on the current conflict.
