Love After World Domination : Episode 4

Well that was a great episode, some amazing character development. Secrets are being revealed and characters are getting to grow closer. Really it is everything I could hope for.

But I still have one major question, what is with the two factions. Like as far as I can tell the good guys and the bad guys are just a bunch of humans. With maybe the exception being the bear. And they mentioned the bad guys are trying to build energy or something to take over. But like, none of it really makes any sense at all. So at the end of the day, is this just like a silly entertainment duopoly. They realized if they fight each other and market themselves as adversaries they could get better viewership and sales of merch or something?
