And with this, the show is over. I can see what they were trying to do, I can really see the general concept and ideas behind this show. Unfortunately they just really didn’t execute them all that well. They waited so long to explain things that when it happens it is too late. For the majority of the show I don’t understand the Black Rock Shooter world or these fights or how they connect at all. And than suddenly it is the most important thing ever and everything relies on it fully. In the end it just doesn’t work for me, and made it all feel disjointed.

In general I guess I would say outside of the story, it was decent. The characters were a bit bland for me and relied heavily on whatever issues they have. Visually it looked fine of the year, though the fights do stand out if reminding me a bit of 3d animated fights you would see on youtube around that time. Unique idea and concept, but just didn’t work for me.
