86 EIGHTY-SIX Season 2: Episode 11
Current Episode Score: 8
Well that was a long wait for the final couple episodes. I don’t really know if the long wait was worth it, but we shall see what happens with this final episode. Like this episode was fine, but they spent a really long time making 2 episodes. Unless we are going to learn season 3 is starting right after this and the delay was to get started on that.
As for the episode, we finally get to meet the Major again. Been a long time since we last saw her, and I do feel like we are missing so much from her story. She is set up like a main character and is rather important to the physiological state of Shin. But after the first season, we haven’t seen her much at all. Just a couple scenes total, and now we learn she is safe and a bunch of stuff happened we never saw. I just feel like she has had a bunch of character development off-screen that I wish we could have seen.
Something I was pleased to see were helicopters. I’ve always wondered why nobody seems to have any air support at all. But apparently both planes, as previously seen, and helicopters do exist. They just never use them unless they have I guess 100% control of territory. Which seems kinda like a waste, sure you would loose helicopters and planes and drones. But in an all out war for survival, shouldn’t you use every single resource available at all times to win the fight and defeat the AI controlled enemy.
Oh well, I’m looking forward to the next and final episode. And to see where they leave this off.
