Ah so we are finally on the squid arc. This show/manga always stays strange, it never delves into what you would call normal. Instead it is almost always some silly or ridiculous set-up or payoff. I do think this arc ends up having some more learning experiences to do with how Tachibana’s and Jinguuji’s relationship works though in the world and magic involved.
