Guilty Crown: Episode 16

I still don’t think this is a great show, but as long as it stays with this ruthless Shuu I think I can like it. I like when a weak character goes through some great punishment or trauma, and the person who results is much much different. No longer weak or trying to make everyone happy. But instead focused on surviving and getting out alive in order to get revenge on whoever caused the situation. Sure this show hasn’t executed it very well, but I still like it regardless.

In the end I don’t see things ending well for Shuu, or any of his close allies. Typically even if the actions done are required to escape the situation, nobody looks kindly on them in the future. And to be honest, I don’t even know how this show will finish. the first part was such a mess I have no hope for this second. It just isn’t all that well crafted and written to actually do what they are trying.
