Something this show does pretty well, thanks to the game it is based on, is having plenty of content to make original episodes during the season. You can add an episode like this, with some definite horror tones, but also some dark and depressing tones, in a show that is otherwise lighthearted and happy without making it seem like a massive change in tone or style. It just all fits together really well, and I’m glad.
