Requiem of the Rose King : Episode 2

I don’t know how much more of this show I will watch. I felt like it had some potential in that first episode, but this second episode had some serious issues for me. The pacing feels all over the place, I can’t follow the story at all, I don’t really have any attachment to the characters who are dying, and the animation and visuals just aren’t very good.

On the animation and visuals side, I thought it had something going for it. It gives you an impression of a storybook at times, but it isn’t a very good looking storybook. The still images are really lacking in detail and are done way too often without a good mix and flow. It goes from feeling like a decent art idea based on the story and time period, to just feeling cheap.

Probably gonna give it another episode to see if I stick with it.
