Requiem of the Rose King : Episode 1

So I will be honest, I don’t remember much about the War of Roses at all from history class. Pretty sure I had a grand total of 1 paragraph about it in High School history. Same goes for Shakespeare, never really read much or watched many of his plays. So this will be interesting to see how it goes. Pretty much just going in completely fresh into this, have no history or historical source material or manga source to compare it to.

It is off to an interesting start, if not paced a bit odd. And I don’t have any clue how it will develop over the course of the season. But I’m going to give this a decent shot and see how it does.

I do have to say I like the visuals and animation a fair bit. It kinda reminds me of a storybook style in many of the transition scenes, it isn’t a style I see very often at all. And I think it really does work.
