Penguindrum : Episode 23

I have decided, that this show might just be too abstract for me. Like I just am having trouble following this show by this point, even though I am enjoying it. But the actual story and events and character developments are just, so incredibly abstract. I never know what is actually happening or what isn’t, how much of this is real? I am really hoping that this final episode answers some questions for me at least, or helps explain some things to me.

But I’m worried this will be one of those shows I just don’t get. At least don’t get on first viewing or without reading somebody else analyzing the show. It just feels like it has far too much for me to keep track of and understand on my first viewing.
