Freezing : Episode 7

More fighting and more mostly naked girls, pretty much the normal for this show. But while I say that, I think I did like this episode. It did a great job of finally giving us Satellizer’s backstory and the reason for her unwillingness to be touched. In a really fucked up way that I’m honestly shocked was allowed. Kinda expected something similar, just not starting at how young she was when it began. Still waiting to learn about how she got to be so very powerful, just pure desire to never be in that situation again?

Some things I still really don’t like in this show. Is the antagonist characters are just so over the top that it just gets silly and ridiculous. At some point they are more comically antagonistic than realistic. Just, tone it down a bit to a more normal level. Maybe give them some actually character development besides just hating Satellizer and wanting to beat her.

The way the fight ended also didn’t do much for me. I don’t like power-ups that let the protagonist win in the end. It feels like a cheap way for the fight to end. Especially since it just keeps happening, half the fights feel like she gains or reveals that she has even more power than she did before. Slightly more okay with Rana’s power-up, since it was just a slightly more powerful version of something she had already shown off before.

Also, when is Kazuya actually going to have another chance to shine in this show. Or really any role to play besides pushing Satellizer forward and causing conflict between her and Rana. He had one big moment a couple episodes back, and since then hasn’t really done all that much I feel like.
