Penguindrum : Episode 21

So, yea. This was a very eventful episode with so much going on. And I’m thinking some of the questions I have are maybe starting to get answers, though I’m still vague on it. Mainly because I honestly can’t tell how much is actually happening for real still. Like I don’t at all trust my own judgement.

We have Kanba over here seeing ghosts and area’s that are returned to like new. And holding conversations with the father and mother, who we know really is dead, over the events that are happening. And working through trying to save Himari. Along with learning that doctor may also be a ghost, but not really sure cause I just straight up don’t know what to trust. Just so much has happened that is strange and odd and unbelievable, that I don’t trust anything now.

Shouma has entered into a new state, making Himari leave I guess to try and protect her. Maybe in hopes that if she leaves all the bad misfortune of the family won’t follow her. Or maybe it is just he can’t stand to see her die while being unable to help. But whatever it is, I don’t really know where it will go. I do figure that Ringo will play a part in helping Shouma recover in the end though.

Meanwhile Kanba and the Kiga group are about to go off and do another terrorist event. Currently working through various plans. And Himari looks on to them, but I don’t know if she is really there. I don’t know how she could have found their location, or if she would have followed Kanba. Not a clue at all.

I just straight up don’t know how this show will end at all. Or what is real in this world anymore.
