Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S : Episode 9

When this show goes from slice-of-life to dragon battles it is incredible. The amount of detail and artstyle changes in this show when they animate those battles. It is just gorgeous. And probably some of the best animation I’ve seen this season. And I can only think they can do it because the rest of the show isn’t like that. They can build up a massive budget to overdo the occasional fight scenes and leave the lower quality stuff for everything else.
