Narenare -Cheer for you!- : Episode 1

And the second original PA Works show of the season, this one supposedly about cheerleading. Though at the moment it is more about some girl who must be a robot or superhuman to do these crazy parkour actions. It is pretty fun, but I don’t really know where it is going. In general I’m not sure where the show is heading from this first episode, I would guess they are going to try and have some various new girls join the cheerleading team and win that competition. Which does lead to my concern about this show only being 12 episodes, it really doesn’t give much time to expand on this cast of characters and set up the story about cheerleading.

Character wise I enjoy them all. But really I’m only invested in learning more about Megumi, and whatever happened to her. Some disease they has caused some sort of paralysis it seems or something similar, and I guess it happened right in the middle of the competition. But really I would love to see her recover from this and be able to rejoin the group, gonna guess it will happen in the final competition if it does happen.

Gonna keep watching this show regardless. I always try and watch the original shows of the season as I’ve always loved the idea of originals. And look forward to hoping it can pull things off.
