My Instant Death Ability is Overpowered : Episodes 7 & 8

Catching up and doing some thoughts after a bit of a break for me. And coming back to this show after finishing the light novels now, and seeing how it all ends. And unfortunately it doesn’t change my opinion at all in the end on the characters, or the general direction of the show.

As for these two episodes, and the previous couple I didn’t write about. Things are maintaining the same progress and style with no changes. And following the source material basically spot on from what I remember. More and more people show up, get involved and either leave or die. And they don’t really play a role in the story at all.

Meanwhile we did get some of the stuff I actually did like about the series, and am disappointed I never got more of. The non-isekai showing off Yogiri on Earth interacting with Asaka and the various other people in his life there. Somehow that relationship with Asaka, as little and short time we see it, just is far more important and caries so much more connection than anything else in the show.
