My Instant Death Ability is Overpowered : Episode 1

And so the Instant Death adaption is here now. And I’m honestly not sure what to make of this at all. Having read all but the last light novel, and knowing how this will progress. It just gives me very mixed feelings about the show, and honestly I was unsure about watching it. Do you watch something you know will end up just being very average with no progress at all in the characters or even general plot really.

But here I am after the first episode, and it is fine. Basically a pretty faithful adaption thus far, with nothing really changed or adjusted at all. Only thing that kinda bothers me is Yogiri’s hair just seems to be far too black. Everything always has his hair as brown or a dark brown, so I don’t know why it changed. Or maybe all the visuals in the manga/light novel are just kinda wrong. Also his odd blue hair sticking out is super obvious and just seems more odd than it should be.

It will be interesting to see how far they decide to go with this adaption. They are adapting from a finished source, so they at least know exactly how much content is available. Hopefully they don’t screw up the pacing or anything like that.
