Attack on Titan Season 2 : Episode 12

Well it took me a while to get her, but season 2 is finally finished. And the final episode is just fine for me. We finally get some actual information about titans, which we already learned that they come from humans. But really nothing more than that at all. We are still left largely at the same point now. A bunch of people can turn into titans, titans declared war on the humans with-in the wall for some reason, and humans are still completely ineffective in actually fighting back themselves.

Honestly with episodes like this one, were they loose half of their squad in a single confrontation. I have to wonder what is the actual plan, like somebody most reason by now this isn’t working. Swinging around titans and hoping to get a good shot obviously is just getting a ton of people killed, and they don’t have the bodies to replace them with. I hope in the third season we start to see some sort of improvement on that front finally. Or are we going to just continue relying on Eren being able to turn into a titan and control titans to hopefully defend them. Because that seems like a very terrible long-term plan.

I do hope in the 3rd season we actually learn more about this other group. And get some progress on humans actually being able to fight titans. Because honestly the routine of; titans attack, humans get killed and slaughtered, titan shows up to save the day. That is already starting to get dull.
