And so the lawless city/vampire arc begins. And right from the start, the show is just as fun and enjoyable as season 1. And continues to be a great adaption of the light novel. While also just adding more detail and minor visual backstory to so many of the places and characters. The city just feels far more lawless than I ever got from the light novel or manga, and the characters just feel larger and far more important. Honestly this might go down as one of my all time favorite light novel adaptions ever between these two seasons. Now if only the light novel could release faster.
