So we have had a big moment of Team Doberman running out ahead in order to try and find the location of essential a jump gate. With the idea being if they can destroy the gate they can stop the invasion for now. I guess that could be more of a reasonable plan than actually reaching their home planet or something like that. Though it is still a long shot given they apparently never even reached that deep into space before, and now they are trying to bring an entire army that far.

As for Team Doberman, I never really got a handle on their power levels. Like much of the show, their seems to be very little consistency with how powerful people are. Going from destroying hundreds of ships to being defeated by a dozen or even one. It was also pretty obvious, and I kinda would have liked it better if they survived. They were throwing up so many generic death flags that it would have been more surprising to have them survive.
