The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent : Episode 3

And we have an episode mostly focused on the relationship between Sei and Albert. Though one issue I have with the source, is just how slow this relationship moves. It looks like it is progressing nice and quickly for awhile. And than it just slows to a crawl chapter after chapter. With nothing much more happening it with. Honestly it kinda disappointed me.

Now one issue I have with this show and source. Is her reactions and and interactions with this world. It just doesn’t feel all that natural. She is a modern woman from the 21st century. So why would she have a reaction at all to Albert walking in while she is relaxing her feet in the water. That doesn’t feel like a reaction a modern person would have in that situation, instead you would be more confused why anybody cares. She hasn’t had any reactions to the different culture or limitations, like the expected dress code of this world at all. It is super minor stuff, but it is always stuff that stick out to me. And make me question what the point of the whole summoning is besides latching on to a popular subject. If your character doesn’t bring forward their modern sensibilities and developments to this other world, and acts like somebody who always lived in that world. You should have just made this a traditional story in which the farm girl from that small town gains these abilities and now has to interact with royalty and this different lifestyle.

IDK, this is probably just my cynical side talking after watching so many different shows with these setups. All of which have the characters behave in similar ways. And all make me wonder the same thing.
