Robotics;Notes : Episode 17
Current Episode Score: 6
Once again my main issues with the show continue, and by this point it is far too late to fix any of them. The characters still don’t feel like they belong doing the events that are happening at all. The main plot point with the kimijima reports still feels incredibly out of place and odd, with very little explanation or connection to the rest of the plot. Or maybe it is the whole robot part that feels very disconnected?
Meanwhile with this episode, we have the school disbanding the club over an accident that occurred with the robot. Which makes total sense to be sure, except the school doesn’t follow through at all. And just trusts everyone will listen to them and stop working on the robot, which they obviously are not going to do. Also I feel bad that Subaru has gotten some serious injuries, but also I feel like I don’t really know him, and don’t really care that much about him at all.
Honestly the show has just disappointed me, and not held up to the level I was expected from the same author of Steins Gate. Just a couple more episodes to push through I guess.
