Tari Tari : Episode 11
Current Episode Score: 6
This all felt very rushed, like suddenly throwing in this school closure thing all the sudden without warning. Not only doesn’t it make any sense, like you wouldn’t start this project while the school is active. This is something you start during the summer. But also you don’t announce this, and than break ground like that same week. It just really is odd and makes no sense, you would literally be ruining hundreds of students possibilities by taking away their working locations and practice locations in at the end of the year. It is just such a stupid plot point.
But also it is just yet another thing to throw into this mix, that is already too large and complex that they don’t have time to properly deal with it all. Like most of the characters still feel underdeveloped completely, and most haven’t really had any growth at all. And they really could have used the final two episodes to focus on trying to give them some final character growth, but not half that time will be taken up with dealing with this school closure stuff.
Honestly this show just isn’t impressing me at all. It looks pretty good, and the general idea isn’t terrible at all. But I just don’t feel like they have properly used the episodes they had at all. Their main cast is too large, and their goals and aspirations are far larger than time permitted. If this was a 24 episode show I think I would have loved it, but I just don’t think this works all that great at 13.
