One of the main issues with Uzaki-chan, both anime and manga, is just how glacially slow the progress between Uzaki and Sakurai is. Or I guess better saying would be how slow it feels. Because in reality it isn’t any slower than other shows and manga. But I’ve been spoiled by so many that have that quick romantic progress within a dozen chapters to allow us to see their relationship, that the slower burn just feels all that much more slower.
