The show really is starting off with some of the most hypocritical characters you could make. Who also are lining pretty well with the stereotypical actions of the rulers of a megacorp who have no real rules or restrictions. Corporations who have reached levels were they no longer care what people might think of them, or how logical their decisions may be or not. And only caring to get an advance on technology and market position to allow them to continue to gain power and influence.

If something appears that could possibly cause trouble for our main money maker. Just destroy it and everyone related to it along the way as we saw in the prequel. And if by chance the conditions are right in the future. Take the tech for yourselves and change the rules, to allow you to now have the advantage once again.

Honestly I am super invested in this show already, and we are only 2 episodes in. I see so much potential in this world of megacorps fighting to restrict technology and attempt to gain the upper hand at the correct time. And twist the rules to fit whatever they are trying to do over the course of the show. Something I do wonder is how dark this show will end up being. The prequel was super dark, so will this show also transition to that style later in the season. Or are they going to keep it slightly more lighthearted with some slice-of-life school stuff as Suletta adjusts and gets better at school and interacting with other people. And slowly get dark in the 2nd cour.
