Show is off to a pretty good start I would say. They are starting pretty small with two main characters, and I figure we will get the extra cast we saw in that short time jump soon enough. As they manage to convince more people to join the club and help them build the robot.

Do enjoy the idea that the Kaito is just a pro gamer on this cell phone game, and ranked 5th in the world. That is obviously gonna be a major plot point, or at least advantage in the future. Maybe his skills in-game will assist him controlling the robot in real life. And Akiho is just super cheerful, and in general a character who will be fun to watch. I can predicate though we will get some moment in the future that attempts to break her of her cheerfulness, just a pretty normal trope to follow. Not sure what is up with the girl at the end doing the report though, I don’t know if she is a time traveler who came back to this time to stop something from happening or some agent of some kind.

In that regards, I don’t really know anything about the source VN it was based on. Outside of it being in the same world as Steins Gate which I really enjoyed, and have played all the VNs in that game series. So lets see if I can enjoy this as much.
