This episode felt like a super condensed route from the VN, and it did not work being so condensed. I can imagine the VN you had multiple times to meet up with Satsuki and Hazuki, getting dialogue and growing closer to the characters. So that you reach this point and it feels super impactful, along with some meaningful choices as to whose route you are going for. But in the anime, it just kinda feels rushed and kinda sudden. Really doesn’t work.
