They do realize they only have 13 episodes right, you have have time to spend an entire episode on slice-of-life when we haven’t even progressed the main story at all. I guess they at least kinda moved the main story forward with the subway scene finally, but it really is just roughly connected. It is another major event that is obviously gonna be related, but we still don’t know any of the major players or motivations for what is happening. Meanwhile the story we are being told, just isn’t that great. Overly happy and cheerful Chisato who seems to have some unpleasant backstory and trying to change Takina to be more like her.

Honestly when it comes to Chisato, I only hope for one thing related directly to her and her character. That her whole belief that she can get by using nonlethal rounds will get somebody directly related to her killed. Because no matter how much it might hurt, you will find somebody like green hair dude who can take the shot and finish the job. You don’t become an assassin if you don’t want to harm people.
