Jormungand : Episode 5

This episode and show in general just don’t do much for me unfortunately. The action scenes are silly and feel cheap, with no real thought given to the events that are happening. I guess I should just accept this show is not trying to do what I would want it to do. I would want a gritty and more realistic depiction of ruthless war and killing. And instead this show is trying to do this more lighthearted action movie take on it, where things just need to look flashy.

Another issue, it doesn’t keep my attention unfortunately. Good shows I will stay focused on every episode no matter what. With this, I find myself getting distracted by other things more interesting than the actual show. Don’t know what I’ll do with it, I might keep going and give it the full watch still and see if things improve for me.
