So it looks like they are going to be introducing many more people who came from the mmo. Hopefully that will help to fill out the plot and actual story a bit more. Though it still feels strange, you would expect more development and change if a bunch of modern humans got stuck in a medieval world.

The twist with the failed potion recreation becoming a monster summoning is odd, that seems like rather overkill as repercussions for failure.
