Guilty Crown: Episode 14

I am so disappointed in this show. I was excited for so many episodes at the beginning of this show. It wasn’t amazing or anything, but I was enjoying it. It had a pretty good story and characters and it looks pretty good. Just in general it was a pretty above average show I would say. And than everything fell apart in like 4 episodes. And now, now I don’t know what we are doing. And I can’t trust this second cour because the first ended so poorly and betrayed my trust.

That first cour ended up with this unnecessary rushed ending that made no sense. Nothing got properly set-up, the plot the characters, none of it had the development needed to end in that way. And it had no reason to end so fast and so poorly, this is an original creation. You have full control over what you will put into the show and how much time each thing will have, no real limitations. You have a set number of episodes so make it work. And they didn’t.

This second cour is starting off with now Shu being some school leader ruling over everyone else based on how powerful their voids are. Rather dictatorshipish if I do say so. I hope it doesn’t end the way most dictatorships end in history. But with this, I just don’t see how this is progressing or will end, how any of this can get wrapped up if they couldn’t wrap up that first cour.

Well I am invested in for sure, so I’m gonna watch it to the end. But I’m already very disappointed and just want to see how much worse they can do.
