Sabikui Bisco : Episode 2

I think I’m gonna leave this at a 7 still, even though I don’t really know if it deserves that. The story is pretty messy thus far, I don’t understand anything at all. They haven’t really explained anything about what is happening, and I don’t really have any connection to any of the characters at all. Everything is a mystery, and it really harms the show. Also the plot keeps jumping between the past and how Bisco got into the city and current events, but I feel like I am missing a prequel movie or show explaining everything else that is more important before this. I’m dumped mid-way through this story I feel, I wonder if this is an anime issue or it the LN/Manga are the same way.

Really the only reason I am keeping it at a 7 is how unique it does seem. Unique enough that I am really interested and do want to know more regardless of the many issues. The mushrooms, the giant crab, the hippos with guns, the whole post-apocalyptic thing. It all just is super unique and interesting and I like it. I just hope the rest of the plot and characters can come around soon. Also the music is just amazing.
