And we are back with the normal story again this episode of Anya getting into trouble with Damian. And the rare Yor episode of her life outside of work. And the Yor episode focus does bring in another one of the things I feel this series doesn’t do great, and that is progressing each of the characters at an equal pace.

Because you have essentially 3 main characters in Anya, Loid, and Yor. They can’t keep a forward progression of each characters story at the same rate at all. So you end up with this giant gaps between each character getting a focus which just makes it seem like nothing is happening with them at all for the longest time. That is if you could say the progress that has been made on a single character is even really worth anything at this point. After 3 seasons of Spy x Family I’m not sure I could really say anybody has grown or changed all that much at all, none of their individual stories have progressed at all. And the overarching plot basically hasn’t moved at all.
