And we are off to a good start, with Dias literally being dropped in the middle of a field because the King doesn’t know what to do with. This crazy powerful muscle head who knows very little else but fighting in various ways and protecting those who need protecting. Who also gets crazy lucky that the first people he meet kinda celebrate people who are strong and manly. With that we get started with the romance with Alna, a romance at Dias didn’t even try to start.

I love the manga, so I’m glad the anime is pretty decent. Even though it has all the issues I’ve been complaining about for years now. The terrible CGI animation is back in yet another show, and in the trend that has also been continuing it is moving out more and more from background characters or giant armies and such. With even main characters and simple walking scenes getting it done. I honestly don’t know what to say, it always looks out of place and is super easy to notice. But given it keeps showing up more and more, and it feels like nobody but myself cares. I guess it is just going to be the norm in anime from now on that half the show is distracting CGI that doesn’t mesh with the 2D stuff at all.
