KOWLOON GENERIC ROMANCE : Episode 13

Well while the show has finished up with this episode, I’m not sure I would say I’m 100% satisfied with the ending. It went about how I would have expected, with Reiko managing to escape after finding herself and all. So it is nice to see that she has a good ending after everything.

But in the end, we still didn’t really get many answers about how this all got started or the mechanics behind it all. Kudou just kinda decides to reset things, and than accepts the past and the choices that happened in that summer. And than things just kinda disappear and vanish suddenly. It really does feel like there was a missing episode or two of explanation that we just didn’t get. And it was that information that I really did want to see further expanded on. But I’m going to assume this is information that hasn’t been fully expanded on yet in the manga, so they had to work with what they had.

I will also say I don’t really understand Reiko B’s reasoning behind the pills. It seems it was based around the idea of fate, so I guess fate of if she should marry Kudou or not. But just in general there feels like a bunch of missing context around that decision.

In the end of the show I’m going to say I was happy with it. But I don’t know if adapting it at the moment before the full story was finished was the correct idea or not.
