KOWLOON GENERIC ROMANCE : Episode 3

Episode was both kinda slow and light on telling us new info, but also fairly big. I’m pretty confident now that whatever effected Reiko is larger than just her, but maybe effects everyone in the city to a different extent. Not a clue how it actually works or effects different people and memories of them. But Xiaohei talking about feeling nostalgic for the city and needing to stay was just strange, almost of a rule of her being that she needs to stay in the city. Which does make me interested in what happens if you leave the city.

And now we have Dr. Miyuki and Nguyen apparently looking more deeply into Reiko now as well. Which one unexpected that apparently this tea house worker has connections with somebody far more powerful in the city, so why was he working in the tea house. Was it just to keep on eye on Reiko and Kudou? And what role does he and the Dr actually play, I’m still too vague on the actual mechanics of this time/memory inconsistency to really nail anything down.

Of course we end with Reiko collapsing after essentially confessing to Kudou. While her vision starts to revert, so what is up with all that. Did something with the Dr’s eye medicine that was given to Reiko at start this whole process and is now wearing off, but where does that leave Reiko. I really want some further details that might help start building on details of this mystery, or a least help me categorize what exactly is even happening.
