Suicide Squad ISEKAI : Episode 1

So I had to give this show a shot, it just is such a silly concept. Some of the suicide squad characters getting thrown into another world and having to do something. But I have some really mixed feelings from this first episode. The characters are great, they are pretty fun as you expect from suicide squad. And I will love to see how they take the characters in this adaption and in the future.

But man I really don’t really like the animation choices and direction during many of the fights. They seem to animate so many things at half-rate for some reason. And it just causes the fights to look so choppy and disjointed. And than they will have sudden animation style changes during certain scenes and transitions that just don’t make much sense. It just feels like a lot, just a lot of happening at once and it doesn’t really click for me.

I’ll probably give it another episode or two to see how it goes though.
