Arknights: Prelude to Dawn : Episode 7

Show is close to wrapping up, and this is also pretty much the moment I have zero more knowledge of the game or how things progress. Since I just kinda got tired of the whole gacha game idea and all the grinding I felt was necessary to fully explore all the stories and characters. So I am excited to see the anime progress from here, but also to learn they are giving the show a second season.

As for the main twist of the episode, that SkullShatterer was Misha’s brother, that felt kinda expected really. It seemed pretty obvious that they were going to be related in some way. But the final event despite being the main turning point probably for Misha and Amiya, also kinda feels odd. It gives off those vibes from rpgs in which you have just wiped out hundreds of nameless goons but still talk about saving people. Or feeling bad about killing the big bad at the end of the game, after having hundreds of kills behind you already. Most of those nameless goons they have been fighting are just already dead, both sides have a ton of blood on their hands. And yet they talk like they are saving everyone and kinda ignore those deaths, and only worried about the named deaths.
