Arknights: Prelude to Dawn : Episode 6

Looks like the main plot point of this arc has finally been revealed, people are after Misha because of who her father was. Will be interesting to see if anything comes of this, who exactly the father was and what he could have possibly known. And this reveal will be the end of this prologue section of the show since it is just 8 episodes long. And still unknown I do believe if another season is coming.

In general I think this show is a bit of a mixed bag compared to the game. In many aspects it is much improved, you feel much closer to the characters and the story. And you want to see more of them and learn more about the characters, and whats everyone’s goals are. But at the same time all the various side characters and gacha characters are being expanded on, the player stand-in of the doctor is still just a pointless character in this story. He doesn’t have any role in the current anime story at all, and without him nothing would be different. And it just feels really awkward, and I wonder what they could have done differently to fix the issue. Maybe just make the doctor into an actual character and flesh him out some?
