Arknights: Prelude to Dawn : Episode 3

I don’t fully know what to think of the show still, I don’t know if I love it. I think it will come down to someplace in the middle for me. But the tone of this show is just so much different from what I remember in the gacha game. I never really got this dark and depressing tone from the game, despite that being what I should have felt. But when it moves over to the anime, man yea this show is dark. This is just a super depressing world of constant war and conflict between powerful factions, in which entire cities can just be destroyed in moments if somebody doesn’t move the city soon enough to avoid natural disasters.

Something I’m interested in now, that I wasn’t really in the game is the history of this world. I would love to learn the backstory and lore about this world, and how it came to be this way. I figure it exists someplace in the game. But I just get the feeling it could be really good.
