And what do we have with this episode, yet another super cheesy attack name. For all Cid is good at for drama and theatrics, he is super bad at naming his attacks. I guess it is fine to have some characters flaws I guess. Also his attack was so unnecessarily large and damaging for the guy he was attacking. He just used his final boss attack against some early game boss for no reason at all. And in the process completely destroyed dozens of city blocks and destroyed thousands of peoples homes and livelihoods.

But man did it all look very cool and visually stunning. It is stuff like this that makes me wish more anime was produced in HDR or Dolby Vision. Just thinking about how some massive overpowered attack at night or in the dark could look makes me sad that we don’t get it. Maybe one day I will invest in a specialized media player that can do post-process style Dolby Vision.
