Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies moved to a starter town? : Episode 4

I said previously that this show works best when it is just comedy involving the characters, and that adding a serious story wouldn’t work at all. And after this episode I keep that opinion fully. When the characters stop looking like everything is a bunch of fun and laughing and try to have a serious conversation, it all falls apart. They just aren’t very good serious characters at all, and the world doesn’t lend itself to serious stories ether.

It is nice to see at least that Lloyd has managed to make it into the school. Just hope we get some nice solid comedy with him in school causing trouble and confusion because of how powerful he is. And not get distracted by whatever serious stories might happen to be occurring in the world around them.
