The Perfect Insider : Episode 1

This is yet another show that I watched a couple episodes of and stopped back in 2015, so starting off from the start to see what it is really like. And from first impressions, I think it is very slow. Very little actually happens in this first episode. We get some character introductions and some discussions, and a mysterious character is introduced. But nothing in the episode shows or tells us anything about what the show is going to be. I’m assuming it will be some mystery show with all these genius characters solving mysteries and tracking down something. But there was zero hook in episode 1.

Also this is the second show of the season after Beautiful Bones that has a younger character looking up to and perhaps wanting to have a romantic relationship with their older mentor figure. Not sure what to make of that, or if either show will actually go that way or not.

Now something that very much interested me in the first episode is the question of what is up with Nishinosono’s leg? It looks like it may be fake due to the odd color, but she is moving it and using it just like a normal leg and not a prosthetic. Unless this show is set farther into the future than I am original though to believe, and they have better prosthetics. Also I love how obvious the car she drives is, with the generic blur/hide the logo done to it.
