KOWLOON GENERIC ROMANCE : Episode 1

Well, I am for sure intrigued by this show now. I knew nothing going into this, and now I really want to learn more given it is going places I was not expecting at all. I was expecting a pretty normal and standard romance show, it is seems to be going into a much more sci-fi route that is linked with a large mystery. If I had to make a guess at this point knowing nothing, this mixing of past and present with Reiko is related to that floating project in the sky. And if I was to really speculate, something happened to Reiko in that past that caused her to pass away or similar, and she is now trapped somehow in the other world that was created by that thing. With Hajime coming in every day to spend time with her during the loops, until it eventually resets or something.

Honestly I don’t know, but I love this concept and this style of mystery. And I am 100% down for whatever happens with this show. I will also say I love the visual style of the show, it is perfect. It feels like an 80’s anime style, very gritty and detailed. And I very much hope they can keep that style going throughout the entire show.
